Membership is the backbone of any non-profit organization. The Sooke Harbour Players Society is no exception, being a registered charity promoting performing arts in our community.

By becoming an Individual Member, you have a vote and a voice in the future of the organization at the Annual General Meeting.

We welcome new members! Membership is open to anyone who wants to demonstrate their commitment to the future of the society. However, note that the cost of membership is not a charitable tax-deductible donation. If you are not interested in membership, and would like to support the organization, we also welcome charitable tax-deductible donations.

Membership is required when you are involved with a production. It is required by the insurance, to protect you and the society.

Individual memberships run for the calendar year from January 1 to December 31st, and are $25. There are no pro-rated amounts or refunds for partial year memberships.

There is a discount for Junior members, paid separately when you join the production. Junior members are covered by the insurance, but cannot vote at the AGM.
